After entering the cities, their living standards have greatly improved, but theproblems in education of these children are increasingly apparent, especially theproblem of how to make them adapt to the city’s schools which also need we to paymore attention on, because good school adjustment is important to ensure the migrantchildren to adapt to complete their education and achieve educational goals. Thewriter grabs the internship opportunity and adopts the professional knowledge ofSocial Work she has learned, has practically studied on this issue, in order to enrichthe domestic related researches and also hope to be able to promote the solution of theproblem about the migrant children’s schools adjustment in cities.The study around the theme "migrant children’s school adjustment", applies themethods of interview, measuring and observation and so on to obtain the intuitive richinformation of the floating children and on this basis, the author has carried on athorough analysis on the conditions of the floating children are now in schools and thereasons of the difficulties they confront with. After putting forward the advantage ofsocial work method to get involved in migrant children’s school adjustment, andthrough the concrete group cases, to discuss how to use the ideas and methods ofSocial Work to make floating children adopt the cities’ schools. In the process ofintervention, it is necessary for the writer and practice team constantly reflect andsummarize from practice work, and timely modify and improve the activity plan so asto solve the specific problems in a certain respect of the floating children’ schooladjustment. Finally based on the review,analysis and thinking of the social workservice process, and combining the problems existing in the floating children’school adjustment, the author has suggested from focusing on non-intelligence factorstraining, to enhance the ability of migrant children’s task orientation; strengthenconfidence training, to enhance the ability to self-tables of migrant children;strengthen family education, weakening the adverse effects of intergenerationaltransmission; optimization school environment, and create a good learningatmosphere; play school social benefits to help migrant children achieve schooladaptation of migrant children four areas to improve the adaptability of the floatingchildren and to promote the comprehensive and healthy development of the floatingchildren.
