With the popularization of higher education in China is accelerating, the number ofcollege students entered the labor market has substantially increased. Because of theslow economic growth,and the double barrier of the labor market,college studentsmust confront employment problem.In face of the severe employment situation andchallenges, the requirements of career decision-making ability of higher vocationalschool graduates are higher. About the occupation ability of decision-making, careerdecision-making self-efifcacy is a very important skill,refers to self-assessment orconfidence of the graduates in the process of occupation ability to complete the jobtask. Career decision-making self-efficacy determines the range of students of highervocational and occupation choice, occupation attitude. Low career decision-makingself-efficacy can make vocational students wait passively and shortage of employmentpreparation in the process of employment,there would be a tendency to avoidthemselves and employment,then think oneself do not have the ability to engage inthe occupation; the graduates who have high career decision-making self-efficacy inthe process of job seekers has a strong desire to exploration and effotrs,so theoccupation selection range will be wider. Career decision-making self-eiffcacy willaffect employment and whether the student will make success or not in the tfiturecareer.Sociologist Bourdieu thinks that the formation of behavioral and cognitive is not onlythrough self-relfection for people, but also the interaction of subjectivity andobjectivity, It is affected not only by the social field position, but also a measure ofthe quantity and quality of social capital, cultural capital etc. Therefore he put forwardthe concept of capital. For higher vocational school1students, human capital in theschool, type of school, family background, have comprehensive effects on thecareer self-efifcacy. Human capital and family capital as the two main forms of capitalcareer decision-making self-efifcacy that influence college students, has a profoundeffect on all aspects of college student employment. Any single research perspective,could not get satisfactory, convincing conclusions.In order to obtain convincingresearch conclusion,it is the only way to combine the two research perspective,andvarious aspects of college student employment in-depth.Therefore, this article take the perspective of human capital and family capital as thebreakthrough point and the actual scale sampling survey data on Higher VocationalSchool Students. It reveals how the capital impact the higher vocational schoolstudents’ career decision-making self-efficacy, and on this basis, put forward to formthe speciifc policy recommendations and advise for the promotion of careerdecision-making self-eiffcacy in the higher vocational school.This study combined qualitative and quantitative research, literature research andifeld research, extensive collection of relevant literature at home and abroad, throughthe questionnaire, interviews,in-depth analysis, the author get the research conclusion.Comprehensive consideration through analysis of the data and the investigationresults, the major ifndings of the study: College Students’ career self-efficacy feelingto the influence of many factors, job performance students sense is the combination ofthese factors also play a role in the,(1)Investigationshows? at present, vocational school students’ self-efficacy overall isin the middle level, most of the college graduates have the Appropriate self-evaluationof their own, they have the ability to make good information collection, goal setting,planning, and problem solving.(2)Empirical study based on the survey data can be found, the students’ human capitalis very important for the career decision-making self-efifcacy and its vairousdimensions is relatively large, including academic achievement, such as being studentleaders, whether to participate in the internship and occupation qualificationcertificate,they all have a positive inlfuence on career decision-making self-eiffcacy.The family economic capital,survey, not job performance on higher vocationalcollege students are affected. Cultural capital, the mothe’rs level of education andcareer decision-making self-efifcacy significantly correlated. Father had no signiifcantrelationship. Family social capital, father’s occupation have signiifcant correlationwith the career decision-making self-eiffcacy,mother’s not; in the job search process,the number of social relationships which can help students wilt also have an impact oncareer decision-making self-eiffcacy. The specialist comparative study, found that theschool type of symbolic capital on career decision-making self-efficacy issignificantly related to the edge.Based on the empirical research results, the author puts forward to some suggestionsto help vocational school students to increase career decision-making self-efifcacyand health development: First, we should pay attention to the effect of family capitalof students’ self-efficacy. Second,training students on individual human capital valueand reasonable health at tributional style. Third,prominent characteristics ofhigher vocational education, strengthen the practice link of education. Fourth,scientiifc career decision-making self-efifcacy intervention.
