There had been a series of major system reform carried out from the countryside tothe city of our country since the reform and opening in1978. For the establishment anddevelopment of socialist market economic system, our country had started to enter into thespecial historical period of social transformation. With the rapid development of economyand the acceleration of the process of city, a large number of rural surplus labors hadtransferred to the city. But because our country existed the urban-rural structure systemand the migrant workers’ had their own economic conditions and the other reasons, themigrant workers’ children were not able to enter to the city to enjoy its treatment and livetogether with their parents. They had no chosen but to stay in the countryside and they hadto face a lot of problem in life, education, psychology and safety.Studying the problems on left-behind children in rural areas during Chinese socialtransition period to solve countryside problems, peasants’ problems and agriculturalproblems, the construction of cities and towns, the new rural construction of socialismhave important theoretical significance and the practical significance. This study wasbased on the material of the in-depth study of Chinese social transition problems ofleft-behind children in rural areas in terms of information. It had used the case studymethod and field investigation and interviews and other research methods, following theresearch ideas which “asking questions, analyzing problems, solving the problem”. It briefanalyzed Chinese social transition period problems of left-behind children in rural areas inlife, education, security, psychological and behavior problems and the social influence. Atthe same time, according to in view of the existing problems, proposing the solutions tothe problem.According to the Chinese social transition period the problem of left-behind childrenpresent situation analysis, this paper will put forward the countermeasure proposal fromthe following four aspects. First of all, from a national perspective, we should carry outthe countryside problems, peasants’ problems and agricultural problems of policy throughthe practice of scientific outlook on development, promoting the reform of the household registration system and the other measures. Secondly, it was the government point of view,we should guarantee the solution for the rural left-behind children through theestablishment of social security system, improving the relevant laws and regulations andincreasing the financial investment and other related system construction. Thirdly, fromthe social angle. We should create the favorable social atmosphere for the left-behindchildren in rural areas. Fourthly, from the school and the family aspect, the school playsdominant role and the family plays the basic role. we should create a good condition forthe left-behind children in rural areas with love, to ensure their healthy growth.
