"School-based Curriculum Development" is a kind of curriculum development strategy in the1970s began to rise in developed countries such as Britain and American,corresponding to the national curriculum development.It can overcome many disadvantages of a single national curriculum implementation, curriculum decision-making democratization, conform to the education development and the requirement of curriculum reform.In just a few years, this thought quickly spread around the world,has attracted much attention in educational circles. Can be said that the development of school-based curriculum is a trend in today’s world of curriculum reform, a basic orientation is the future of the basic education curriculum reform.In our country, along with the advance of quality education and the deepening of curriculum reform, especially the implementation of the "tertiary course management" policy, from the policy level offers guarantee for the development of school-based curriculum, but also to our education theory and education practice put forward unprecedented challenges, how to develop distinctive school-based curriculum became a hot issue of concern.Based on the background of the development of school-based curriculum, through the study of Chinese school-based curriculum development and school-based curriculum development and implementation of "literature and love" strategy, aiming at Chinese school-based curriculum development under the new curriculum reform provide a possible solution.Love is the eternal theme in literature, has an irreplaceable role in humanistic education, will love literature works into high school Chinese teaching, not only embodies the language curriculum standard "to build open and vigorous Chinese course" the basic idea, but also embodies the people-oriented and open, pragmatic philosophy of education.
