The study on children’s aesthetic comprehension is an important part of studieson children’s aesthetic psychology. Based on the visual scope of comprehending thefairy tale of children literature, this paper preliminarily studies the children of the topclass in the kindergarten on the characteristics of aesthetic comprehension. The studytries to describe their real development of aesthetic comprehension that is based oninterviews and statistics, and tries to conclude their characteristics of aestheticcomprehension according to the three levels of aesthetic comprehension. Therecharacteristics of aesthetic comprehension on the first level of aestheticcomprehension that is the “actual” of fairy tale, which presents self-deception、similar to maturity and custom. The children of the kindergarten have somecharacteristics of aesthetic comprehension that is about the second level of aestheticcomprehension of elements of the fairy tale. These children prefer to comprehendwords by their own experience, and comprehend long sentences and conversations byhearing to catch aesthetic appearance and make it simplification, and whocomprehend people’s emotions by migration experiences, and prefer to the maincontents of fairy tale rather than the details. On the third level of aestheticcomprehending the deep meaning of fairy tales, class children show moremultilayered and ambiguous. Meanwhile the study makes an Independent-Samples TTest about the levels of aesthetic comprehension, which is to analyze the differencesbetween girls and boys on the characteristics of aesthetic comprehension.Based on the study of class children’s characteristics of aesthetic comprehensionpreliminarily analyze and conclude, this paper deals with the problem of thecultivation of children’s aesthetic comprehension and promote the children’s aestheticcomprehension development. Firstly, create an excellent and comfortableenvironment. Secondly, select diverse and beautiful fairy tales. Thirdly, attach greatimportance to the experience of aesthetic comprehension, do not rush to create.Fourthly, the children’s aesthetic comprehension of fairy tale and his daily lifeperformance combined with the observation. Lastly, respect children’s all-round aesthetic comprehension, and give children sufficient opportunity to expressthemselves.
