In the autumn of2001, Our country has carried out a new round of the basic education curriculum reform. In the process of reform, an important goal is to change the students’ passive learning style. Reform advocates students’ active participation in learning. With the new curriculum, Inquiry teaching is carried out in the subject teaching. But the high school physics teachers will encounter some confusion in the use of inquiry teaching process. There are still to be solved many problems and difficulties in the implementation process. So in order to carry out the inquiry teaching, Improve the ability of students has become a problem to be solved in the educator. Therefore, this paper study based teaching theory domestic and foreign research. With me in the teaching practice of interview and questionnaire, Further analysis and summary of misunderstandings and difficulties of inquiry teaching, And then put forward the countermeasures.The main content of this study:One, describes the background and significance of the research, analyzes the present situation of domestic related research, based on this proposed research methods project;Two, the definition of the basic concepts of inquiry teaching, the difference of inquiry teaching and traditional teaching are discussed, based on the inquiry teaching psychology and pedagogy theory, discusses the essentials of implementing principle and process of inquiry teaching;Three, physical teachers in city and countryside two class school of physics inquiry teaching status questionnaire survey, the results of the survey were analyzed, and the use of classroom observation scale analysis on specific aspects of classroom teaching;Four, the author summarizes the implementation errors of inquiry teaching, and analyzes the result of the reasons for the misunderstanding;Five, the author studies the strategies on the implementation of inquiry teaching of physics.Through the above study, the author thinks, To effectively carry out the inquiry teaching, physics teachers must learn deep, constant reflection. Education departments and schools should strengthen the training of the new curriculum idea, let the physics teacher brave to carry out inquiry teaching. With the new course cooperation as an opportunity, let the physics teachers at the inquiry teaching; To reform the evaluation system as a guide, let the physics teacher brave to carry out inquiry teaching. Finally, the author puts forward eight strategies for the effective implementation of inquiry teaching physics. Mainly include:ask questions, conjecture and hypothesis, the planning and design of experiments, experiments and data collection, analysis and demonstration, evaluation, exchanges and cooperation and how to design the homework. The author hopes to provide a reference for physics teachers, to help the smooth development of physics inquiry teaching.
