Guidance case, designed for students,is a kind of learning program merged with the learning objectives,learning content and learning programs.It is based on a certain educational theories and philosophy, curriculum standards and textbook requirements and is combined with students’ prior knowledge and experience,cognitive characteristics and ability levels.Its role is to guide students to actively construct knowledge,master learning methods and train learning autonomy. It is not only a concrete manifestation of curriculum standards and textbooks, but also an important resource and media for teachers and students to engage in teaching activities. This makes guidance case increasingly popular and plays an important role in the daily chemistry teaching. Against this backdrop of guidance case,chemistry education researchers and teachers put forward higher requirements to guidance case.How to improve the quality of the preparation, how to play their guiding role in learning better and so on are now urgently need to be solved.Therefore,we use literature research and theoretical analysis to build a brief overview involve the research status of guidance case and concept definition.Define the guidance case comparative analysis methodology by referencing teaching materials comparative analysis system and combining with characteristics of guidance case.On this basis,compare and analysis the different guidance case of High School Compulsory Chemistry1from three four-star high school in Jiangsu Province. The research results are:(1)By referencing teaching materials comparative analysis system and combining with characteristics of guidance case to identify five dimensions for guidance case analysis and comparison:learning objectives, content selection, content presentation, content difficulty and exercises.(2) In the comparison of learning objectives,compare learning objectives of three guidance cases with learning objectives of teaching material in learning objectives’breadth, depth of learning objectives and learning objectives’feasibility.The conclusion are:①The depth and breadth of learning objectives are both exceeded the target of teaching material and curriculum standards in the dimension of knowledg and skill.②A higher degree of cognitive goals can be achieved in a vast majority guidance cases,but the achieving degree of process and methods and attitude-value-emotion is not ideal. (3)In the comparison of content selection, proceed in the selection of knowledge, learning methods and learning activities.The study found①The selection of knowledge in three guidance cases present"overall similar, slightly different"state,but exist high knowledge content requirements and discrepancies in the law of summary compared with teaching material and curriculum standards.②Both have a certain contents of methods guiding and corresponding learning activities for students to learn to use these methods,but more cognitive learning activities, less experiential learning activities on the whole.(4) In the comparison of content presentation,use column as a carrier,classificat and collect the columns in three guidance cases,then found that the presentation is launched along the students’earning activities,reflect learning methods guiding and emphasis mastery and application of knowledge and skills.Butwe also found that the content does not match with the name of the content and the presentation is is in the form of a single in some guidance cases.(5) In the comparison of content difficulty, quantitatively compare the content in three guidance cases by referencing Curriculum (Content) Difficulty Quantitative Model.The breadth and depth of the contents in three guidance cases are more than those in the teaching material.This result leads to the content in guidance cases is more difficult than that in teaching material.(6) In the comparison of exercise, firstly count the number of exercise and words and found there are big differences in three guidance cases. Secondly analysise the content of exercises and found that most exercises can be a good way to consolidate knowledge and culture students’ thinking ability.But there are also some wrong exercises, hard exercises and slant exercises.(7) Put forward four recommendations for the guidance cases writing:Deepen the understanding of curriculum standards and clear the teaching objectives of Compulsory Chemistry1.Deepen research on teaching and set teaching in students’study.Deepen the understanding of the functions of guidance case and emphasis on the role of guidance.Improve teachers’choosing abilities and optimize the guidance cases.
