In recent years, the teachers’ burnout has become a hot topic. It’s not only because of itsnegative impact on teachers, but also because of its negative impact on students, the schooland the whole society. So the study of teachers’ burnout is undoubtedly the great significancefor today’s education.The study attempts to analyze the current situation of rural and urban primary teachers’burnout by comparing, and then gets the characteristics of teachers’ burnout in Chengde area,and gives the tactics on how to ease the rural and urban primary school teachers’ Burnout. Thestudy selects the number of206teachers in three urban primary schools and two rural primarycenters schools to survey, and selects4rural teachers and4urban teachers to interview.Through surveys and interviews we can know clearly that the current situation of teachers’burnout in Chengde primary schools are moderate and urban teachers’ burnout significantlyhigher than the rural teachers’.It can be clearly to see the situation characteristics through comparative analysis of ruraland urban primary teachers’ burnout:1.Whether rural or urban teachers, the degrees of maleteachers’ burnout are higher than female teachers’;2.Teachers’ performance is inversely totheir educational background, that is, the higher the education, the lower degree ofperformance;3.The degree of emotional exhaustion and non-personalized in more than15years of teaching experience’ teachers is higher than the other, the highest degree ofperformance is3to5years’ teachers;4.The degree of emotional exhaustion and non-personalized in Chinese teachers, math teachers and English teachers is higher than musicteacher, PE teacher and art teacher, but Chinese teachers, math teachers and English teachers’performance is higher than other teachers;5.The class teachers’ degree of emotionalexhaustion and non-personalized is higher than other teachers’, but the class teachers’degree of performance is higher than other teachers’;6.Urban teachers’ educationalbackground is inversely to the degree of their emotional exhaustion, that is, the higher theeducation, the lower the degree of emotional exhaustion.Through the comparative analysis of rural and urban primary school teachers’ burnout,we can see the characteristics of the causes:1.Almost all the teachers think that teachers’ lowsalary is one of the reasons of their burnout;2.The majority of rural and urban teachers can’tendure the irrational teachers’ evaluation system and management;3.Urban teachers’ supportsystem is not perfect, so that urban teachers are lonely;4.Urban teachers are feel stressed inthe large class capacity, too much paperwork and formalism checking;5.Left-behind childrenmake rural teachers’ work more difficult;6.The rural teachers’ teaching is powerless, because of the knowledge and ability’s lacking, tough environment and the shortage of teachingresources.Based on the above comparative analysis of the situation and the reasons, goodcountermeasures are put forward for the rural and urban teachers’ burnout:1. Pay attention tothe growth of male teachers, novice teachers and seniority teachers;2.Reduce the workload ofChinese teachers, math teachers, English teachers and class teachers;3. Improve theeconomic treatment of teachers’ and change teacher’s evaluation system and management;4.The whole community concerns the behind children, to reduce the pressure on ruralteachers’;5.Concern the professional development of teachers in rural areas, and optimizethe quality of rural education environment;6. Pay attention to the low education teachers inurban areas, and help them in professional development;7.Build healthy urban teachers’support system, the public should expect reasonably;8.Reduce urban teachers’ clerical work,formalism checking and class capacity.
