In recent years,affected by factors such as salary level,social status and work pressure,some rural elementary school teachers have experienced problems such as decreased job satisfaction,perfunctory work,and insufficient energy input,showing varying degrees of job burnout.Teacher burnout will affect teachers' work efficiency,self-efficacy,mental toughness and physical and mental health,and seriously affect the overall quality of teachers and the growth and development of students.In-depth study of the problem of rural teachers' job burnout is of great significance to improve teachers' physical and mental health and improve the quality of education and teaching.On the basis of existing research,this study adopts a case study method,selects six rural primary school teachers in Qingdao West Coast New Area as the research objects,and uses the literature method,interview method,and questionnaire method to collect data from emotional exhaustion,low sense of accomplishment,and depersonalization.This dimension investigates and studies the status quo of teacher job burnout.First,sort out the core concepts of "job burnout" and "teacher burnout",and analyze the basic characteristics of teacher burnout.Secondly,through in-depth interviews and analysis,we understand the current situation of teacher burnout in six rural primary schools in Qingdao West Coast New District,and make detailed records.Third,analyze the causes of job burnout from three aspects: society,school and individual.Finally,based on the above analysis,explore the feasible strategies to effectively prevent and alleviate the job burnout of rural primary school teachers,in order to provide a basis for helping rural primary school teachers relieve job burnout in Qingdao West Coast New District.Based on the results of the empirical investigation,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.The teachers in the six schools have mild job burnout.2.There are certain differences in teacher burnout under the variables of gender,age,teaching age and professional title.3.That under the market economy,money worship has an impact on teachers' values and social expectations are too high but wages are low an important influence on the production of teacher burnout.And also the following factors have an important influence on teacher burnout: school management concepts,workload factors,interpersonal relationship factors,teachers' role ambiguity,teachers' role conflicts,and characteristics and coping styles of teachers,teachers' sense of teaching efficacy,teachers' professional qualities and teachers' educational beliefs.
