| In recent years, different kinds of crisis and emergencies have showed the increasing trend, this effect to the harmony and stability of society and universities is becoming more and more prominent, the emergency management work in colleges and universities is becoming more and more difficult, complex and important. All the contemporary college students as the subject in the college emergencies, every acts and move of them are affecting the safety and stability work in colleges and universities. All the instructors are working at the basic level of student management work, so they are the important links between the students and colleges. Instructors play an irreplaceable role in the whole process of emergencies in colleges, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation process. Therefore, studying the effective strategies for instructors of emergencies in colleges constantly is good for the social harmony and university stability. At the same time, it both has theoretical and practical guiding significance to improving the comprehensive quality and ability of instructors in emergency management.This paper tightly explore around the topic on the college emergencies and the way that instructors deal with. The first part is the introduction of this paper, it gives an account of the research background, and analyses the significance in theory and reality of the research, and then systematically combing the main research productions and related theories of the college emergencies at home and abroad in recent years. The second is the first part of this paper, it combines the domestic and foreign interrelated theories on management and crisis, and systematically elaborates the concepts of incidents and emergencies happened in colleges and universities, and then compare the differences between the two. Based on these theories, the paper summarizes the five types and six characteristics of the university emergencies. All instructors should master the basic knowledge, because these are the prerequisite for instructors to handle high university emergencies. The next section is the second part of this paper, it comprehensively analyses three major factors which cause emergencies in colleges and universities, the three factors are social factors, college factors and the students themselves. Among them, the paper points out the following problems. University administrators and instructors are generally lack of crisis consciousness, theoretical knowledge and emergency skills, and the mechanisms of instructors to respond to emergencies are not perfect, so instructors’ comprehensive ability should be improved. This part also puts forward that the psychological problems of college students has become one of the main causes of university emergencies, Therefore, instructors should be actively concerned about the psychological changes of college students. The last part is the core content of this article, based on the theory above, the practice of collation, analysis and discussion, and combined with the work practice of instructors in the typical events in the last several years, this paper puts out the strategies of instructors to handle the unexpected events in universities. Instructors should be based on the principle of "people-oriented", then enhance the crisis consciousness of themselves, strengthen their psychological quality, rapid reaction and scientific response.The research contents of this paper provide some reference methods for instructors to answer the emergencies happened in universities which are on a certain extent. It is propitious to improve the effectiveness of emergency management work of instructors, and it can advance the whole levels of ability of instructors to deal with emergencies in universities. |
