The reasonable and effective design of the geographical preset homework and the implementation of it have great advantages in developing students’thought of scientific learning and their learning abilities. This thesis focuses on the study of how to design the geographical preset homework of senior high school reasonably and effectively.It hopes to play its important role in daily teaching and inspire other teachers to have a reflection on their geography teaching.In this thesis,the author carried out her experiment through literature research,investigation,action research and other methods according to the concept of student-based education and other educational theories.The author summed up the current existing problems about the design of preset homework in senior geography through questionnaires for students as well as interviews of front-line geography teacher.And it learned the systematic characteristics of homework from the geography textbooks of United States and Russia through case studies. This paper proposed that the design of senior geographical preset homework should regard the "Four key points" as a precondition, and the design of preset homework should follow the four principles:practical quality, life quality;opening and fun. To make this research more practical and operational, the author divided homework into three types to have specific analysis. Finally, the author carried out a teaching experiment and got the verification in Yu Cai Middle School of the town of Yu Lin in Shaanxi Province. And the result shows that this study is worthy of recognition.
