Post practice is an important mode of higher vocational education in talent training, aiming at strengthening students’social cognition and upgrading their professional skills and operation levels. With the development of post practice, the problems of students’ideological and political education come one after another. It is necessary to straightening the interrelation between higher vocational college, employers, family and students themselves to guide students to adapt to the society and the jobs during the post practice. So the emphasis and direction of this paper lies in the innovation of the methods and countermeasures of ideological and political education work during post practice.The paper consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly elaborating the research background, theoretical foundation, research methods, as well as the innovation point of the post practice. The second part mainly clears about the connotation, concept and characteristic of higher vocational students’post practice and tries to find the differences of ideological and political education between the duration of post practice and school hours from four aspects of ideological and political education environment, teachers, contents and system, which provide theoretical support to explore and the methods and countermeasures of students’ideological and political education during their post practice work. The third part surveys and analyzes the higher vocational college students’current status of work by means of interviews and questionnaire survey which form the first-hand data And meanwhile the reasons of ideological and political education problems are also analyzed from the aspects of school education, social environment and students’personal quality, which set a foundation for the problem solving. The forth part puts forward the methods and countermeasures for the higher vocational students’ideological and political education work during their post practice, including the innovation of school education ideas, working methods, enterprise cultivation and assessment methods as well as the innovation of students’self-management and self-education methods.
