In the course of a new round of curriculum reform, a curriculum managementsystem with three levels (from country, locality to school) has been graduallyformed in China. In the autumn of2009,there was a new curriculum reform inYunnan province. Many schools were enjoying a boom of developing andimplementing the school-based curriculum. At present, there hasn’t been a very soundimplementation system of the school-based curriculum yet. The development andpractice of the school-based curriculum in Yunnan province is at the trial stage. Whatwe should do is an attempt at combining the new teaching materials with the relativeknowledge to develop the curriculum which will suit the specific needs of ourstudents. What we should do is an attempt at establishing the implementation systemof the school-based curriculum. These are the main problems which are badly in needof solving now.The study of the document consists of four parts: In the first part, the authorintroduces the present situation of developing the school-based curriculum---distant emotions at the ancient poetry by analyzing the background of thecurriculum, the location of its orientation, the development of its resources and theevaluation methods of it thoroughly. In the second part, the author reveals theteaching practice of the school-based curriculum---distant emotions at the ancientpoetry by explaining the mode of it, the teaching strategy of it, the specific plans ofit and the analysis of its case. In the third part, the author points out the existingproblems in the process of the development and teaching practice of theschool-based curriculum respectively. In the fourth part, the author puts up someeffective strategies for dealing with these problems.
