It is difficult for most middle school students to learn physics. How to helpstudents learn physics and how to take advantage of interesting physical phenomenato gradually stimulate students’ desire to learn and study physics knowledge are thedirection of my teaching efforts. We should seize the opportunity of educationalreform to experience and learn methods of effective national education and teaching.These methods and good experience and mastery of physical education should beapplied to my teaching practice. We should strive to help more students to come outof the fear of physical learning difficulties, access to knowledge through its owninquiry, to realize physical knowledge is accompanied around us.We use literature to study and analyze domestic independent learning,appreciation of education and teaching in physics research problems and solutions,etc. Based on these studies we choose the theme of "appreciation of education underthe guidance of a physical theory of independent learning strategies". We survey andinterview the physics learning situation by choosing a sample containing841juniorschool students in twenty-fourth middle school in KunMing. By using Excelsoftware to analyze the survey data we obtain the following results:(i) At the beginning of learning physics most of the students are very interestedin physics. But the interest of some students become weak or even disappear asteacher deepen the study content, which may be caused by factors such as studyhabits, test equipment, learning psychology and teacher-student relationship.(ii) The students hope to show their best side in front of other students andteacher no matter they are in which level. They hope teachers will give more help fortheir own weaknesses after school. In this way they can correct their deficiencies andhave better performance.Combined the survey results above, we put forward gradually the followingautonomous learning strategies based on the physics education theory.(i) We should fully let the students to learn the subject, so that the learning willtakes place in themselves; (ii) We should make every effort to create an independent learning environment.We hope to let the learning process become a pleasure to enjoy the process of thegrowth of knowledge and facilitate the students to learn independently physicsthrough appreciation education.
