With the gradual advance of primary and secondary art curriculum reform, thedevelopment and utilization of art curriculum resource are paid more attention andconcerned a lot by more and more majority of primary and secondary school artteachers. With the guidance of The Arts Curriculum Standards of CompulsoryEducation (edition2011), the richness and appropriateness of art curriculumresources can be increased by developing and utilizing local art curriculum resourceand conditions. In this paper, taking the local art curriculum resource developmentand utilization of Tengchong area for example, the author collects and summarizes thevarious types of fine arts curriculum resources in Tengchong area, and by means ofsurveys and interviews, he understands the current situation of Tengchong artcurriculum resource development and utilization, identifies and analyzes Tengchonglocal art curriculum resource development and utilization of the existing problems. Tosolve these problems, this paper puts forward some proposals and accordinglystrategies; and gives the teaching examples.In this paper, literature, surveys, interviews and other methods are used to studythe development and utilization of art course resources in Tengchong area, whichprovides other art teachers in Tengchong area as well as other areas with some similarart teaching references. This article collects and classifies the art curriculum resourcesin Tengchong from the two main resources: natural resources and socio-culturalresources. The development and utilization obey the following principles:directional, reality, featured, comprehensive, step by step, student-oriented, etc.Under the condition–oriented pattern, the paper fully investigates the teachingresource and condition of Tengchong local art curriculum implement and makesproper use of the existing conditions during the local development process, such asgeographical characteristics and school conditions. And at the same time, in thepattern of students-oriented, it concerns students’ interest in learning and lifeexperience. It suggests art teachers, during the development and utilization, obey thefollowing steps: situational analysis, mining resources, issues identified, instructionaldesign, activities, teaching evaluation and teaching reflection. To develop and use theabundant local course resources in Tengchong area broadens students’ study toexplore the field in practice, allowing students to improve all aspects of the localcultural heritage in capabilities.
