Preschool teachers’ professional development reflects national attention topreschool education; preschool teachers’ professional development is to enhance thequality of early childhood education. It’s not only an important way to promote thecomprehensive development of children, but also the need of the development ofpreschool teachers’ inner. Preschool teachers’ professional development is a dynamicprocess of development, continuous, systematic, conscious and lifelong learning. It isalso a process of preschool teachers’ professional philosophy, ethics, professionalknowledge and professional ability unceasingly mature, which improves Preschoolteachers’ professional development.The study is on the basis of the preschool teacher professional development theory,based on the background of preschool teachers’ professional standard "(Trial)". Itmainly uses the literature method, questionnaire method, interview method andobservation method, which has carried on the investigation to the current situation ofthe professional development of kindergarten teachers in Yunnan Province. Theinvestigation and analysis, from the aspects of demography variables of detailedresearch on the professional development of kindergarten teachers in YunnanProvince, reveal the situation of Yunnan kindergarten teachers’ professionaldevelopment, which analysis the situation of Yunnan Province. The professionaldevelopments of preschool teachers are different aspects. It puts forwardcorresponding countermeasures in order to enrich, enhance and promote theprofessional development of preschool teachers.The results show the general situations of Yunnan Province1. The level of theprofessional development of preschool teachers is in general. On the overall situationof Yunnan Province, the professional development of kindergarten teachers in thedemographic variables, specific performance:(1) From the overall level of cities andtowns in Yunnan Province, the professional development of kindergarten teachers wassignificantly higher than the overall level of rural preschool teachers’ professional development.(2) The overall level of teacher professional development in Yunnanprovince decreased with the reduce wages monthly.(3) The overall level of teacherprofessional development in Yunnan province rise with the children educationalbackground.(4) The overall level of preschool education in Yunnan Province, theprofessional development of preschool teachers is higher than that of preschooleducation of preschool teachers.2. The understanding of Yunnan Province in earlychildhood teachers is not clear on their own occupation.3. Yunnan Provincekindergarten teachers lack of the knowledge of early childhood care and education.4.The ability of reasonable incentive and evaluation of preschool teachers in Yunnan islower.Based on the research results above, under the view of the present Yunnanprovince preschool teachers’ professional development, this study proposed thefollowing suggestions:1. optimize the professional and educational structure ofpreschool teachers, which promotes the professional development of preschoolteachers.2. Improve preschool teachers’ salaries and support the professionaldevelopment of preschool teachers.3. Strengthen the development of rural preschooleducation and improve the level of rural preschool teachers’ professional development.4. Establish and improve the professional development of preschool teachers andprofessional development mechanism; improve the overall situation of preschoolteachers.5. Improve the understanding and knowledge of the kindergarten teachers’occupation, in order to lay the foundation for development of preschool teachers’professional.6. Enrich the knowledge of the kindergarten teachers in early childhoodcare and education, and enhance the professional development of preschool teachers’level.7. Improve the ability of preschool teachers’ reasonable incentive andevaluation of children, which promotes the professional development of preschoolteachers.
