China has a great influence over other Asian countries through its character in East Asian culture. However, with the growing process of globalization, not only cultural understanding and heritage are valued, but cultural output is becoming increasingly important to advocate a country’s cultural identity and global influence. Up till now, Korea and Vietnam have already stopped using Chinese characters. Japan, however, place an even greater importance to the education of Chinese characters while reserving its daily use, it is recognized that the education of Chinese characters is now a big part of the entire education of Japanese characters. As it is known to everyone that the education of national language is the core of modern education system, the basis of human development, as well we an important support of humanity and spiritual civilization. Textbook is also necessary in the education process. Through studying textbooks, we would be able to find out the current situation of Japanese education and its ideology, also a lot more can be achieved while exploiting Chinese textbooks and ancient Chinese education.The essay has four parts. The first part features 23 editions of Integrated Japanese Language by 9 publishers, verified in 2012 and put into use in 2013, they classify selected Chinese articles into different categories, like literary form, age, forms, etc. Meanwhile, they choose Shi Ba Shi Lue as a key point, to describe its extraordinary development from nothing to greatness, as can be compared to Shi Ji and combined as historical biography textbook jades. Besides, they conclude that the reason to its success lies in that it is brief and straightforward enough to be accepted by the general public, which makes it easy to edit and read. The popularity of Chinese education, the level of understanding to Chinese, and the amount of editions released all have a huge influence on its spread. What’s more, they conclude designs of ancient Chinese education and the characteristics of ancient Chinese teaching at the basis of the Study in ancient Chinese textbook series.The second part focuses on Chinese poems, and divides them into different categories such as style of a verse, poet, and content. Taking the poetic genius Li Bai as an example, it selects a lot of classic lines in his poems which center on “homesickness” and “farewell”. His poems are highly regarded in Japanese culture not just because of Li’s rich experience as a person and their great artistic value, but the poems accord with the humanity of Japanese society. Besides, it depicts the changing trend of Er Bai in the textbook, and finds out Li’s late successfulness is closely connected with the change of Japanese aesthetic value and the communication in Chinese literature ideological trend. In Chinese poem teaching, reading aloud and imagination are paid great attention to. Besides, it adapts to the local characters, and attaches great importance to the combination of history, culture, and geography, especially the interpretation of colors.The third part tries to explore factors influencing selected articles on Integrated Japanese Language of Japanese high school from different angles, such as the relevance of literature history, the classicalness of artworks, the difficulties of reading comprehension, the similarity between Chinese and Japanese textbooks, etc.The fourth part sets Chinese education of Japan into the east-Asia cultural circle, compares the selected articles on textbooks of Chinese education from Korea and Vietnam with those in Japan, and analyzes their features. Also, based on the living experience in Japan, it tries to dig out the problems of current selected articles in Chinese textbooks of Japan and its Chinese education, accordingly, provides some personal advices.
