The education paradigm is transforming to online learning, blended learning and collaborative learning in the next one to two years as said in The NMC Horizon Report(2014 higher education Edition). With the popularity of higher education and the promotion of lifelong education, blended learning will be the breakthrough of higher education. It is one kind of learning styles and learning philosophy which is paid attention to gradually as the reflection of on-line learning and the back of traditional learning.As blended learning requires highly interaction and timeliness it needs the support of net-work platform. The appearance of MOOC(massive open online course) provide such platform for blended learning. Udemy receives great educators’ attention in so many platforms and brings the hope for blended learning due to its free and easy to use, allow teachers to upload their videos.In the process of paper, I found there are some problems in the course of The basic of computer after I talked with the students in Sanda University. The problems are as follow: 1) the content is not new; 2) lack of guidance after class; 3) lack of varied activities and so on. So I proposed to apply the blended learning into the course. The students are willing to have a try if there is a platform which can make up for the insufficiency of existing curriculum and improve students’ interest in learning and learning ability. Based on MOOC’s learning platform and style, I designed a blended learning course.At the beginning of the paper, I discussed the background and the significance of it, explained advantages or disadvantages of on-line learning and traditional classroom learning and proposed that blended leaning can promote teaching quality and efficiency with the combination of on-line learning and traditional classroom learning. And then I introduced the meaning and characteristic of Udemy, MOOC and blended learning after I read plenty of information regarded to the research. As well as I designed a blended learning model on Udemy based on previous research with the guidance of theory of blended learning and constructivism. After that, I applied the model into some content of the course. In the process of the activity, I interviewed the teacher to know his familiarity about blended learning and I got students’ basic information, the use of blended learning and Udemy by observation and questionnaire survey. In the end, I knew this model’s effect on students’ master in knowledge, attendance and creativity by questionnaire survey from the aspect from teacher and students. Besides, I reflected the influencing factors, state the disadvantages of my research and put forward to further research.In the paper, it proves that blended learning which based on Udemy can not only improve teachers’ teaching ability but also stimulate students’ learning interest and promote their ability in study, research and innovation by themselves. At the same time, the paper also verified the feasibility of blended learning based on Udemy and provided some advice and reference for adopting blended learning in net-work environment.
