Human geography concept is the foundation of human geography study. If students correctly grasp the concept of human geography, they will gradually set up people in harmony with the environment of human geography attainment. The paper found that the content of the high school geography part was easy to learn but hard to teach. Although the logic relation of human geography between the knowledge is not close together, human geography doesn’t look hard. However, in the examination,students are difficult to answer accurately and get high marks of the human geography knowledge. The reason is that students’ understanding of human geography bias is always uncorrected. Therefore, how to help students get rid of in human geography concept teaching of human geography concept understanding deviation, is becoming the important topic in front of geography teachers.Based on the concept of the second volume of senior high school geography human geography as the research content, this research try to relate students of the concept of human geography with their understanding of human geography concept deviation, which using the combination of test question survey method, questionnaire survey and other research methods. And then the research find the students of human geography concept understanding deviation and probing the present situation and problems of teacher’s teaching and research.Firstly, it contrasts “cognitive bias" and “misconception”, and it expounds the connotation of the concept of human geography.Secondly, through doing some questions about human geography concept to students; Aiming at the influence factors of human geography concept teaching, it makes some high school geography teachers do the questionnaire investigation and research. Comprehensive analysis it is concluded that human geography conceptlearning is the main reason for the understanding deviation:(1)the misconception, no interest in human geography concept learning, differences between the individual learning ability;(2) Geography teachers own geographic literacy, the understanding of the concept of human geography of students cognitive basis, the evaluation of teachers’ concept of human geography of students learning situation;(3) the geography textbook of expression and representation of the concept of human geography;(4) the concept of characteristics and the concept difference between human geography and natural geography.Finally, in view of the problems of high school geography concept understanding deviation, combined with the formation of students’ awareness deviation reason, put forward based on the concept of human geography learning awareness deviation of teaching strategies:(1) to carry out the learning investigation, eliminate human geography concept of myth interference;(2) the use of geographical material,deepening the concept of human geography core connotation;(3) the arrangement of cooperative learning, causing human geography concept cognitive conflict;(4) build a concept map, to reveal the relationship between human geography concept.
