In the transition Chinese society, influence of the social value multiplication andnegative social atmosphere has brought great challenge to school moral education.The school moral education exist lots of outstanding problems such as thedisconnection between education content and real life, simple inculcation education,unideal education effect etc.In the theme class meeting, which is a major way ofmoral education of the school, these problems also exist. This paper takes FengchengHigh School of Laiwu city as the research sample.We did a wide range ofquestionnaires and interviews with teachers and students, finished the accumulation ofa large number of original material, which has laid a practical foundation for the study.At the same time, the author read a lot of theme class meeting related books, papersand publications so that he took possession of material, understood the latestdevelopment of the theme class meeting. According to the experience and problems incarrying out the theme class meeting these years, we continued to improve the designand the carrying out of theme class meeting,as a result,the education effect improvedcontinuely.After trying various theme class meeting organization forms, we selectedthe Experiential theme class meeting organization form. Experiential theme classmeeting refers to a certain theme class meeting which is designed,carried out andshared by the teachers and students according to certain school educational aim.In thepractical educational activities,experiential theme class meeting and discussion,performing style, lecture style and other theme class meeting mode are integrated inapplication.This paper analyses the main characteristics of experiential theme classmeeting, ideas and principles of design and implementation, this paper also discussesthe identification of the educational objectives and the selection of the themes,thesesign of the plans and class content.In the third part of this paper we discuss the target and the design of experientialtheme class meeting, including the design aim, principle, scheme. the principle ofdesign and implementation includes the principle of active education, emotionalexperience and subjective participation principle etc. In the fourth part, we discuss theorganization and implementation of experiential theme class meeting, the first one isthe process of organization and implementation, the second one is the result of theimplementationm,which analysis what experience and effect happened in the students,and the idea of the teachers as organizers and the evaluation of students. The last part is about the questions and the ways to improve of experiential theme classmeeting.The essay is completed based on the practice of Laiwu Fengcheng high schooltheme class meeting,so it is the reference material on the work of the theme classmeeting of the senior middle schools.The standards and requirements of many of thepapers are higher than the current practice level.In this sense, this paper is also ablueprint for the school to carry out the theme class meeting in future.
