The theme class meeting is the main platform for schools to carry out ideological and political education for students and promote their all-round development.However,the traditional theme class meeting is gradually disjointed from students' real life and learning situation in terms of the educational content and its form,and the single educational mode also result in unsatisfactory educational effect.M middle school in Guangzhou,where the author works,is an ordinary junior high school.In recent years,the quality of students has declined,and the number of students is uneven.The number of problem families and single-parent families has gradually increased.In order to help the head teachers improve the efficiency of moral education and better promote the all-around development of students,the school has implemented the "experiential theme class meeting" in recent years,so it is of great practical significance to explore the experiential theme class meeting.Experiential theme class meeting is based on "experiential model of education and psychology",using the related psychology technology,according to the certain education purpose or theme,designed by teachers consciously,organization and activity experience of comprehension,and guide students to participate in a particular situation,enable students to participate,to communicate,to differentiate,to perceive,to promote themselves in this real situation,so as to promote the all-round development of students.This study is based on a large number of data and according to the experiential learning theory,values clarification theory,group dynamics theory,using document analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze the present condition of the implementation of experiential theme class meeting in Guangzhou M middle school,mainly embodied in experiential theme class meeting class protected,student participation is low, form drab and content from students,practical needs to improve evaluation system,etc.Through the analysis of survey data and interview records,the author believes that the school leaders should pay attention to the development of experiential theme class meetings,improve the system and continuity,and constantly improve the evaluation system,improve the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in the experiential theme class meeting.The head teacher should strengthen their own professional skills,strengthen the learning of psychology and pedagogy,constantly understand the reality of students,and really introduce experiential activities into education.Through experiential theme class meeting to solve the current dilemma that many students are lack of real experience,let the student grow from the experience,and perception,so as to deeply change the student's cognition and behavior,improve the effectiveness and pertinence of moral education.
