Along with the advancement of basic education curriculum reform, the evaluation systemreform is deepening. The exploration of an evaluation system of facilitating students’ all-rounddevelopment requires educators to not only focus on academic score but also put emphasis ondeveloping students’ potential. To help students to know both themselves and how to developthemselves better is the future direction of educational evaluation reform.High school curriculum reform in Shandong was initiated in September2004. The aim is toreplace the long-existed exam-oriented education system with a new system of encouragingstudents’all-round development. Basic accomplishment evaluation is the highlight of the reform.This thesis was born out of view point of an in-service teacher from***High School ofShandong. The author’s research methods include reading relative materials, talking to researchobjects, observation, etc. By researching “Student Basic Accomplishment Evaluation Plan of***High School of Shandong” and its implementation, problems were found. Solutions are alsooffered in order to make it more scientifically-based and effective.In this thesis, detailed research is done on background, process and deploying approach ofdrawing up“Student Basic Accomplishment Evaluation Plan of***High School of Shandong”.Highlights of it are also interpreted by analyzing the status quo, especially difficulties on teacherevaluation, such as: lacking of direction of detailed operation; insufficient effectiveness onstudent development. Suggestions are offered to enhance authenticity of evaluation, which helpsrealizing the aim of student basic accomplishment evaluation.
