| Under the reformation of the new courses, local geography is drawing more attentiongradually for its vivid resources, available methods, and practical significance as a course whichrelate closely to students’ daily life. As an important form of local geography teaching, caseteaching is being widely adopted and applied. Local geography brings vitality to class, creates anactive atmosphere and raises efficiency of teaching by its typicality, facticity, enjoyment,timeliness and acceptability.This thesis analyzes local geographical case teaching of senior high school courses by theexample of Weifang. It emphasizes the combination of theory and practice, centering on thesignificance and the gist of local geography teaching. It also includes domestic and overseascurrent theoretical basis and advanced teaching system, associating the current situation of localgeographical resources and education of Weifang. An efficient project of local geographical caseteaching is raised so that it can help students learning geography, improving the exploring ability,founding the combination of theory and practice and developing patriotic emotion. In addition, ittries to combine various resources of local geography efficiently and to explain casesscientifically for the feasibility of related teaching designs instead of its written forms.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part mainly analyzes the background and theimportance of local geographical case teaching as well as the domestic and overseas currentsituation of it. The second part expounds its connotation and basis. The third part discusses theadvantages of local geographical resources of Weifang. The fourth part points out somequestions which still exist in the local geographical case teaching. The fifth part illustrates theapplication of Weifang local geographical cases, and the last part is about prospects of it. Thereare some suggestions which benefit to local geographical case teaching in the last part. |
