As one of classroom teaching modes which are proposed by the new curriculum, dialogue teaching has many distinct characteristics such as equality and democracy, interaction and creativity, internalization and experience. Also, dialogue teaching has very important significance to improve teaching achievement in moral education and promote students’all-round development.Political Life, one of the compulsory modules in the political curriculum of high schools, covers the contents which are integral parts of students’real life and future life. Through the study of this module, students should have a correct understanding of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics, have political identification and confidence to socialism with Chinese characteristics, build up citizen awareness consciously and shoulder social responsibilities actively. The achievement of goals has a close relationship with classroom teaching mode. The teaching of Political Life needs an equal democratic to breed democracy, needs to participate in the interaction to experience real life, needs to think about internalization to set up responsibility. Therefore, reviewing the dialogue teaching has important practical significance and theoretical value in political Life.The purpose of this paper is to draw lessons from the moral education research that Chinese and foreign scholars have studied about the dialogue teaching, summarize and rethink my own teaching practice experience so as to provide new ideas for carrying out dialogue instruction effectively in the teaching of Political Life.First of all, through the interviews and questionnaires to high schools teachers and students, I analyze the advantages and the difficulties in the dialogue teaching of Political Life from three viewpoints:teachers, students and texts. I know the current situation of Chinese and foreign theoretical researches and ensure that this paper can stand in the forefront of theoretical research through literature review. What’s more, I make my research be of practical value by showing my research results through authentic and vivid cases.Secondly, my research consists of two issues:the premise and the core of carrying out the dialogue teaching of Political Life. On the one hand, teachers and students’ knowledge reserve, notion transformation and environment creation are the premise of carrying out dialogue teaching smoothly and effectively; On the other hand, the core of dialogue teaching are dialogue situation and dialogue modality, thinking conflict and the return to practice.Finally, according to the new curriculum concept, I make the practical introspection to the situation of carrying out dialogue teaching of Political Life. I hold the view that in the dialogue teaching, teacher’s lead is indispensable and as subjectivity of learning, students should become the leading roles of the dialogue. What’s more, textbook, as the important source of carrying out dialogue teaching, should be used creatively so as to provide its value.
