With the increasing enrollment of students in colleges and universities from 1999,the quality of talent cultivation has decreased. Facing with the severe employment situation and the employers’ grim demands, the Ministry of Education issued the document, some opinions of further enhancing undergraduate education in colleges and universities, which says the capable colleges and universities should actively introduce the tutorial system,and try to offer the best and personalized service to advance the development of students from all aspects.Thus, many universities restarted the undergraduate tutorial system. The implementation of this system is the key to the promotion of quality education and there are various problems in it inevitably. This paper points out the model, sense,and necessity of the tutorial system carried in the universities and also points out the result received and the deficiency exiting in the system by analyzing the documents first.And it then uses factor analysis to dissect the the instructive and protective role since the system was carried out by using the Liaoning University of International Business and Economics as an example.Getting the first-hand data by means of questionnaires and interview, it will ascertain the problems existing in its implementation and also put up with some solutions. The following four parts will be discussed in detail.Chapter1 The research background and research significance. Looking up the literature home and abroad, then summarizing them, this chapter mainly introduces the background of my choice item, basic methods and the practice significance of the thesis. It also discusses the necessity of the the undergraduate tutorial system carried out in the colleges and universities.Chapter2 Problem discussions. The problems existing in the classes where the undergraduate tutorial system is carried out are found out, through some questionnaire surveys conduced among 240 students from different grades in some college in Liaoning and some interviews among some counselors and tutors.Chapter3 strategies. In order to execute the system effectively, the specific strategies are given in view of the problems existing in the tutorial system.
