Along with the vigorous development of the international Chinese language education, more and more countries and regions begin to introduce Chinese teachers for foreigners and set up Chinese curriculum. Among them, Thailand was the biggest demand country of TSCL teachers in recent years. As China and Thailand have maintained long-term friendly relationships, people of Thailand are also rising demand for learning Chinese.The author of this paper served as a volunteer Chinese teacher teaches high school age of students in Thailand. The students had a certain degree of demand for China traditional culture teaching activities. Through consulting relevant information, we found that past study on China traditional culture teaching in this stage of the teaching object is not very specific. So the author hope that through the full and accurate survey interview to understand the real situation and the specific needs of China traditional culture teaching in current Thailand high school stage.This paper adopts the research methods of investigation and report by completing the survey questionnaires and interviews. I investigated and surveyed 10 high school’s 10 Chinese teachers and 100 college students of different educational background in the middle area of Thailand. The first part generalizes the results and present situation of culture teaching research in China and abroad. The second part introduces the basic conditions of current China traditional culture teaching in Thailand high school stage. The third part describes the process of design and implementation of the questionnaires for China traditional culture teaching in high school stage in the middle area of Thailand. The fourth part analyses the survey results detailed. The fifth part summarizes the problems and reasons of China traditional culture teaching in Thailand high school stage. The sixth part puts forward suggestions of Chinese traditional culture teaching according to the existing problems. The seventh part designs new teaching scheme and carries out teaching practice. The last part reviews and summarizes the whole survey process.Through the explanation of these above parts, it aims at carring out in-depth and meticulous investigation and analysis on situation of traditional culture teaching activities in current high school Chinese curriculum in the middle area of Thailand. Based on analysising the specific figures, summarize basic pattern and problems of China traditional culture teaching in Thailand basic education stage. I put forward some assumptions and suggestions of traditional culture teaching activity according to my own teaching practice and experience. This paper strive to plays a supplementary and enlightened role in strengthen and improve culture teaching activities of more foreign teachers’ Chinese teaching practice in Thailand in the future.
