Complying with the concept and requirements of History new curriculum, teaching history needs innovating resources, methods constantly. Combining history theory with teaching becomes the way to promote middle school history teaching development and innovation. The oral history as a branch discipline of history, can be closely combined with history teaching. Then with its own unique advantages, the oral history can realize the value of innovation.This paper focus on the oral history how to apply in middle school history teaching. From the perspective of practical teaching operation, this paper would instruct the method of applying the oral history in detail, and design the case of applying the oral history carefully. The basic content of full text is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the value of the selected topic, define the oral history and summarize the current research states in application of oral history teaching in middle schools. The second part analyzes the feasibility of the application. One of the methods is using the oral history as teaching resources. The other is using oral history as a teaching organization form. The third part emphasizes the application value of oral history, expounding it from the perspective of the three-dimensional. The fourth part details the oral history application general method and principle, analyzing it as the historical data and learning methods respectively. The fifth part design the application of oral history, including the case about the Chinese modern history for example and the design of the subject inquiry activity.
