On The Education Of Xixia Nationality

Xixia was created as the main body in the history of China, a minority regime, together with Song, Liao, and Jin promptly. In the process of creating a regime, Xixia had been learning the surrounding culture and positive development of our nation’s sweet to learn culture, under the cultural policy of the existence of the Confucianism and sweet learn, the culture education of xixia was gradually mature. The paper talks about the culture education of xixia, and aims to reveal the thoughts and characteristics of xixia’s culture education.Xixia’s culture education mainly built from the framework of Confucianism, it regarded the Confucianism as ruling policy.Meanwhile, in order to achieve the purpose of governing the country by Confucianism, it translated Confucian classics, established teaching institutions, modeled the imperial examination system of song dynasty to select the talent. When Xixia studied inheritance of Confucian culture, in order to keep the national culture characteristics, it created sweet words, set up the institute of sweet and developed-sweet to learn culture. After a long period of time, Confucianism and sweet, finally established the dominance of Confucianism in xixia culture, and the sweet as the national culture exists in xixia history with the Confucianism. From today’s legacy of xixia documents, we found that the popularization of simple cultural knowledge in xixia culture education, it was also affected by Buddhism and so on, pays attention to the ability of people, focus on the ethical enlightenment on people, contains the simple materialism thought.The purpose of this paper is to use silver moon unearthed literature to explore xixia educational situation, by analyzing the xixia books and cultural policy, combination of xixia social background at that time, summarizes the xixia educational thoughts and characteristics.
