The nature of the contemporary painting more and more to pure aesthetics. Therefore, in the artistic form gradually moved away from production activities of people. But the different historical period’s paintings have the brand of The Times, the artist gives certain thought emotion and social ideology. So, in the high school fine arts teaching process, students should be instructed to not only painting language of painting appreciation, also based on the investigation to the painting time background, on the historical, cultural, political, cultural thoughts of the ideological thinking, digging deep connotation of the works. Based on this, this paper focuses on the \ "founding ceremony\" in xi-wen dong, for example, from the high school art painting appreciation method of teaching related problems, expounds the internal and external factors influencing the art appreciation teaching method. In 2011 high school art curriculum standard as a guide, benchmarking by appreciating dimension of xi-wen dong \ "founding ceremony\" is analyzed, thereby for the design of the high school painting appreciation course direction, in order to provide valuable reference to high school fine arts teaching in China.
