Music is one of the history of mankind’s most ancient art form, culture and the arts an important integral part. After the founding of new China, the aesthetic is listed as national education policy, the reform of education, to promote quality education, promoting equity under the background of education, music education has made great progress. Music education has yielded some encouraging results overall, but in the vast rural areas, schools, music education is still in a very awkward position, between urban and rural areas caused a great development gap, a serious impediment to the full implementation of quality education process. Music education in rural areas continue to let this free development, will bring a very serious problem, so it must be taken seriously enough. For this reason, the status of teaching basic music education in rural areas of investigation and analysis, pulse diagnosis, find out the crux, accurate positioning is very necessary. I conducted the material collected in the course of discovery, although rural junior middle school music education situation is very serious, but rarely on Sichuan rural junior middle school music education issues survey research papers; in particular, for the development of music education as a county point It is very few.
