Chinese traditional culture has a long history, carrying on the excellent traditional culture education. It not only helps to improve middle school students’ thought, aesthetic, cultural and moral quality, but also helps them to set up the correct outlook on life and values. In fully implementing quality education, cultural quality education is becoming more and more important. "Ordinary high school biology curriculum standard(experiment)" on the emotional target explicitly pointed out: "we will focus on training students’ positive outlook on life,world outlook, loving home, loving the motherland, strengthening the revitalization of the Chinese nation’s sense of mission and sense of responsibility." Biological science is a basic subject in natural science. At the same time, it contains rich traditional culture in the biological sciences. Each version of the high school biology textbooks contain some excellent traditional culture. Therefore, it is necessary for us to mining and analysis of the biological teaching materials, so as to give full play to the role of traditional culture in the biological sciences, making scientific education and cultural education integrating closely..In this paper, mainly analyze the elements of traditional culture in biology textbooks for high school which published by People’s education press. At the same time this paper studies the culture education in high school which are located in JiNing area, through the way of questionnaire survey. Our purpose is to analyze the depth of mining realistic problems of the traditional culture education, and put forward the reasonable and effective advises.This paper includes six chapters. The first chapter is putting forward the research background, research current situation, research purpose, research significance and research methods.The second chapter introduces the theory of traditional culture. And briefly introduces the definition of traditional culture, the connotation of the traditional culture education. At the same time, It introduces the content of traditional culture for the high school students and introduces the necessity of traditional culture education.The third chapter analyzes the elements of traditional culture in the compulsory part of biological textbooks for high school, including poems, prose and ancient philosophy,ancient science and technology, and other cultural elements. And analysis one by one.The fourth chapter analyze the present situation of the traditional culture education in JiNing area high school biology teaching through the form of a questionnaire survey. The result of questionnaire show that the students and teachers understand of the culture education inadequately;traditional culture education in biology teaching have defects questionnaires respectively the analysis and research.The fifth chapter proposed the teaching effective measures about the traditional culture education in high school biology, according to the results of the survey. Mainly includes four aspects: improve the students and teachers the infiltration of traditional culture and education of traditional culture penetration traditional culture education in classroom teaching;penetration traditional culture education in activities; Schools increasing the intensity of support, carrying forward the traditional culture. At the same time, making a concrete analysis of each countermeasure.The sixth chapter analyze the existing problems and prospects for further research and provided some ideas for future research.
