A Study On The Teaching Of Ancient Chinese Poems In Junior Middle School

Classical poetry is the essence of Chinese classical literature. In junior middle school, the textbook includes many works with good quality and great beauty which are highly readable. Guiding the students to read the beautiful ancient poetry plays a very important role for improving students’ literary personality. In recent years, the examination of classical poetry proposition has undergone great changes. It focuses on students’ ability of knowledge understanding, using and migration. This requires them to have a higher appreciation ability. However, the present status of teaching of ancient Chinese poems is not optimistic. More and more teachers are dedicated to good results, so poems appreciation lessons became skills drilling classes.This way of teaching is not only eliminated the students innovative thinking and emotional experience, but also kill students’ enthusiasm of learning. In this way,there would be no way to realize the value of ancient Chinese poetry teaching. To improve students’ ability in appreciating ancient Chinese poems, and improve the efficiency of our teaching, we should find out the reasons of low efficiency, and then try to explore effective teaching methods. On the one hand, this article is to analyze the teaching status and the reasons, as well as illustrates the significance of classical poems teaching in Chinese teaching, and then analyze the types of poems in textbooks of Jiangsu province. On the other hand, based on the Chinese course standard and the traditional Chinese poetry theory, this article is try to sort the rules of different poem types, and find out the key points of teaching, in order to improve the efficiency of Chinese classical poems teaching.
