Study of this topic with a new concept for the study of curriculum reform background, learner-centered, with its own teaching practice, students explore ways to advance the knowledge and skills, processes and methods, attitudes and values of progressand development of the geography classroom effective teaching strategies. Through research projects, survey and analysis of secondary school geography major factor in effective classroom teaching, reflection and update the concept of improving teachingeffectiveness.Article is divided into five parts. Mainly from the introduction to the development of the geography classroom, teacher professional development and school development needs, in-depth analysis of the subject the background, the analysis of the current status of effective teaching and research, explained the research purpose, meanig,of thought processes and research methods.The body of the article focuses on four aspects.First, from a theoretical paper on the effective teaching of the concept of defining analyzed and summarized. Overall, the concept of effective teaching on the definition of two ways:First, the definition of the concept of analytical methods. Mainly through the analysis were "effective" and "teaching" to define the meaning of effective teaching, the core is actually around the "efficiency" of the resolution to carry out; second-level deconstruction of the Definition. Effective teaching will be divided into surface, middle, three levels deep to analyze and define. I am based on existing research results, combined with their own teaching practice, that:the so-called effective teaching should be in the limited space within the classroom, teachers and students in a pleasant learning environment, the organic coordination of elements of a variety of teaching, effective use of various teaching resources together to complete the learning task, take the initiative to promote all students to achieve learninggoals, so that the harmonious development of cognition and emotion by teaching activities.Secondly, the article analyzes the current geography classroom inefficient or ineffective performance in five areas:lack of teaching preparation, classroom too arbitrary; problems setting unreasonable; lead class skills is poor; language at random;blind evaluation.Again, the analysis of the junior high school geography teaching inefficient or ineffective the three main reasons:lack of knowledge of geography, not enough emphasis; professional quality of teachers is not high; for new teaching ideas have deep understanding of the operating difficulties.Finally, the article in the concept of effective teaching, inefficient or ineffective performance and cause analysis based on the combination of junior high school geography teaching practice, from the preparation of effective teaching strategies, implementation strategies and evaluation of policies put forward a number of operational three strong implementation strategy for the majority of junior high school geography teachers to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching geography provide references.In the geography classroom teaching process, select the appropriate classroom teaching strategies, to achieve effective teaching to do three things: First, prepare lessons to be deep. Do in-depth study materials, in-depth understanding of the students,in-depth understanding of self, well versed in teaching methods; Second, lectures to live. Be flexible method, teachers and lively, student activities, classroom activity. Students in independent study to achieve effective teaching; Third Assessment want to be. Teachers to combine classroom teaching practice and student own characteristics,in order to promote student development as the goal, a proper evaluation of the students. The research projects proposed in the strategy is not systematic, a lot of strategy put forward is based on teaching experience, the theoretical basis is not deep. There are still many issues need to further study in future.
