Under the background of information age,the cultivation of students'practical ability has gradually become the mainstream topic.As an important channel to cultivate students' practical ability in geography,geographical outdoor teaching activities have been paid more and more attention by various countries.Whether it is the requirement of a new round of curriculum reform or the need to cultivate the core quality of geography,there is no exception to reflect the importance of geographical outdoor teaching activities.However,in our country,the geography classroom of middle school is still limited in the narrow classroom,and the present situation of outdoor teaching is not optimistic.This article has used the questionnaire investigation method,the interview method,the case analysis method.First of all,it combs the current research situation of geography outdoor teaching activities at home and abroad,defines the geographical practice power and the concept of geography outdoor teaching activities,and expounds the relevant theoretical basis for the implementation of the activities.Secondly,the paper investigates and analyzes the problems existing in the development of geography outdoor teaching activities in senior high schools in Tianjin,which is mainly manifested in the difficulty of ensuring the security funds,the lack of attention paid by schools to the outdoor teaching activities,and the lack of sound infrastructure facilities.Insufficient preparation before activities,emphasis on knowledge over experience in the process of activities,evaluation on results but less on processes,and after activities The corresponding problems of classroom extension and expansion are not enough and so on.Thirdly,this paper puts forward the strategy of integrating geography outdoor teaching activities with classroom teaching from the aspects of goal,content,form,process,summary and evaluation of geography outdoor teaching activities in senior high school.Finally,the implementation guarantee of the activities is put forward,and the basic conclusions and shortcomings of this study are summarized,as well as the prospect on this basis,so as to provide reference and reference for the follow-up research.
