To obtain the relations between chemistry study and non-intellective factors for middle school students, an investigation has been made on 434 middle school students inside the city of Danyang. This investigation connects quantitative and qualitative analysis by means of two self-made investigation forms——The Relations between Chemistry Study and Interest, Will, Emotion and Character & The Relations between Chemistry study and Motive,The results of this research are as follows:1.The non-intellective factors in chemistry study like interest ,will, emotion and character show a tendency to descend with the rise of grades. So it is with the general developing levels. 2.The non-intellective factors in chemistry study and the general developing levels are obviously higher for junior middle school students than senior middle school students. 3.The developing levels of the non-intellective factors in chemistry study are extremely higher for groups of good students than groups of poor students. 4.The nonintellectual factors in chemistry study including interest, will, emotion, character and etc, have different effects on the results of chemistry study for middle school students of different grades. 5.The motives of chemistry study for middle school students mainly lie in cognitive inside drive, while those for Senior Three students are mainly concentrated on self-improvement and subsidiary inside drive . Great differences exist in inside drive between groups of good students and poor students.
