| Chemistry being taught is applicable among the senior schools in China, which is systematic in content and comprehensive in structure. Mean while there are some short comings, especially, it needs improving in practical value, the development of the student's character, and fostering the students' ability to require something. These provide possible space to develop the school-based curriculum. The interaction between school-based curriculum and the essential course can be better used to satisfy the needs of training the students for the future.The thesis aims to solve practical problems in developing school-based curriculum in Changchun Experimental Middle School, it tends to offer scientific analysis and study about the aims of running chemistry school-based curriculum, which is suitable in content and quality evaluation. The development of the school-based curriculum should be based on the need of the society, and also based on the future study about the students and schools. It should make the students learn something more about the close relation between chemistry and society. And it should be close to everyday life, be fit for the school education, in order to develop the student's ability in many fields. The evaluation of chemistry school-based curriculum is supposed to be the way of self-evaluation, in form of fixed evaluation. That is, all the people including teachers. Students, experts participate in making school-based curriculum plan, implementing evaluating activities, taking different ways and models to evaluate to avert the prejudice by simple and wrong evaluation. The aims of evaluation is that we should reform and develop the chemistry school-based curriculum to satisfy the needs of (essential education) school education in junior and senior middle school. |
