The education of chemistry history plays an important role in improving students' scientific literacy.The basic concept of the course of "high school chemistry curriculum standard(experiment)" Article 3:Combine the history of human exploration of matter and its change and the trend of chemical science development,guide students to further study the basic principles and basic methods of chemistry,the formation of a scientific world view;Knowledge and Skills in Course Objectives Article 1: Understand the main clues of the development of chemical science,understand the basic concepts and principles of chemistry,understand the nature of chemical phenomena,understand the basic laws of chemical change,and form basic concepts about chemical science.Although the basic concepts and knowledge and skills objectives of the course "High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(Experiments)" relate to the education of chemistry history,it is only understatement.The rest of the school curriculum involves almost no content of the history of chemistry.Therefore,the history of chemistry education is difficult to be the majority of front-line teachers attention.Now,no one of the high school chemistry elective courses is based on the education of chemistry history,can be said that a major loss of chemical education.Through case studies,in-depth implementation of the history of chemistry education practice,trying to develop more effective new way of history of education.Through the analysis of the theory research results of chemistry history education and the in-depth study of the educational methods and ways of school-based curriculum,combined with the characteristics of chemistry history education,we carried out the history of chemistry in two parallel classes of Henan Normal University affiliated middle school and high class Education research.The whole study has gone through three stages: it is through the access to literature,field visits and questionnaires to collect information,design chemistry history education school-based curriculum resources package;followed by deep implementation of the case in the resource package,and constantly reflect on,discover and solve problems encountered;Finally,the whole research process is reviewed,the advantages and disadvantages of the research are summarized,and the suggestions for further research are put forward.Case study found:(1)secondary school students in order to enhance scientific literacy,we must learnthe history of science knowledge(2)the history of chemistry education theory research no matter how outstanding results,can not replace the value of its practical research;(3)the history of chemistry education research results can be used as a material for practical research,and practical research can enrich the connotation of theoretical research;(4)The education of chemistry history needs some policy and financial support,and teachers,students and education departments need to work together;(5)Due to the convenience provided by the information age,the way of education of chemistry history is no longer limited to the traditional teaching of preaching,but also through the QQ group,micro-groups and other network communication platform for students to educate the history of chemistry.
