| With the development of information technology, in particular the progress of network technology , multimedia technology and communication technology, the web-based learning has been a very great progress. But the maturation only in technology can not cause web-based learning give satisfaction to people, constructing large quantitative and higher quality of the web-based courses and web-based learning system are very necessary in practice. So the discussing of the design and construction of web-based learning system in theory and practice have great meaning in epoch and realism.On the basis of the browse and research of many web-based courses , web site for learning , teaching systems , and so on, the author has designed and constructed a theme-based web learning system . The supporting theory , the mode of learning , the principles of instructional design , the process of construction and the application of technology for this system has been discussed in this paper. In this paper, we select the basic course 《mechanics)) of undergraduate students in the university as a applied example for our theme-based web learning system, the web-based courses of 《mechanics)) has been constructed.In this web-based learning system, there are both of functions: a web courseware and a web-based learning environment, the system management and resources management can be accomplished in the system. The web courseware includes all the basic content and basic problem of mechanics, and has capacious adaptability and large numbers of content. The mechanics resources provide a lot of correlative resources, such as media material, exercises, references , web resources links, animated cartoom video frequency and audio frequency teaching courseware, and so on. The administrators can manage these resources and contents, for instance, appending, deleting or amending . The students not only can study instructional content alone through Internet, but also can acquire help after school for mechanics study through this learning system. |
