In the twentieth century, the earth is getting warmer and warmer with the development of economics, technology and population. There appear many environmental problems such as the thinner ozone layer, air pollution and dried-up water resources. But China bears the greatest pressure in the weakest ecology state of her history. In the future,whether she will be in the lead as a sustainable developed country of the first class or she is dying because of the short-term development depends on the future of the students-masters of the environment, the designers and builders of the environment of China. Environmemtal education is necessary and important basing on the actions of the masters,designes and builders of China.Environmental education in the biology teaching of Senior Schools is the requirement of sustainable development of the educational reformation and the requirement of quality education.In this article, the author set forth some proposals about the necessity, possibility and the special methods of environmental education in the biology teaching of Senior Schools basing on the environmental education and its causes at home and abroad, the cognition of Dialectical Masterialism, and modern education of psychology, guided by the outline of environmented education and the guild of modern biology.The author set up the system about the aim and content of environmental education and put forward that teaching for environmental education is the effective way of sustainable development of environmental education in the biology teaching of Senior Schools.
