Self-regulated learning, being an important component in active learning, which fully shows the education ideology based on human beings, plays an essential part both in the teacher's teaching and the students' learning. Many researches show clearly that given certain skills and knowledge, the students' self-regulated learning is an important factor that can influence their effect of learning. This essay, combined with the characteristics of physics, chooses a way in which the students' self-regulated learning skills can be fostered during the process of solving the physics problems, and aims to perfect the theoretical researches in the domains of self-regulated learning and guide the teaching practice in physics.This essay bases on the research surveys to introduce self-regulated learning and the research situations of its application in different subjects. It does some researches especially in the following aspects:Firstly, this essay has a deep and systematic illustration on the self-regulated learning's conception, its developing laws and the factors influencing its development .Meanwhile, this essay also has a theoretical analyses and research on how to solve the physics problems conceptually and ideologically. Self-regulated learning is an active process for the students in which they consider it as a conceptual object while regulating controlling and adjusting it. The development of their self-regulated learning skills abides by some laws: from others-control to self-control, from unconscious to automation via conscious, from one-side to full-side and more sensibility and higher transferability. There are many factors influencing the skills of students' self-regulated learning ,however, this essay only discusses some factors such as the factors of the teachers, the motivation of the students themselves , attribution and self-efficacy. Therange of problem solving mentioned in physics is very wide, but in middle schools, it only focuses on solving physics problems, and the 4 steps of it are analysis, working out, checking up and concluding the physics problems. Self-regulation, in the whole process of solving physics problems, serves as the roles of direction, controlling and adjustment.Secondly, this essay points out the principles and ways of fostering the junior middle students' skills of self-regulated learning in solving physics problems and the matters that the teachers should pay attention to while practicing, all these are guided in the related theories above and based on the students' characteristics of developing the skills of self-regulated learning as well as the teaching present conditions in junior physics teaching. Combined with the present situations in physics teaching, this essay points out the fostering principles in self-regulated learning, they are the principles of initiatives, feed-backs, resorting and effectiveness. The concrete fostering ways are the ways of sound-thoughts , others-asking with self-asking and memorizing the erroneous exercise .This essay also comes to a brief conclusion about the matters that should be paid attention to while the teachers are training it, they are as follows: to help students make practical learning plans, to enhance the knowledge of self-regulated learning, to perfect the disadvantages of the students, to develop one's skills of self-regulated learning, to make a cozy classroom atmosphere and so on.Thirdly, to choose two classes of grade two in No.73 junior middle school in Shenyang as the objectives based on the theories talked above, which carry the training for 2 months on self-regulated learning in physics teaching. This research adopts the self-made questionnaires and the physics score sheets as the measuring tool. Knowing the fact that the score gap and the skills of self-regulated learning between the two classes are not very distinctive , the training of the skills of self-regulated learningare carried out, and surprisingly, the ability in experimental class is strikingly higher than the contrast class in the skills of self-regul...
