Under the guidance of 'learning by doing' concept, the essence of modern education theory, the thesis taking the distinctiveness of physics science into account and holding a belief that study and application of innovative teaching will serve as a reference for physics curricula updating and restructuring at secondary level, attempts to initiate an alternative to secondary schooling on physics , which highlights students independent learning process. Physics knowledge should be acquired through main channel classroom interaction in a step by step fashion , even though exploration in extracurricular activities can offer assistance in this aspect. Undertaking of such a new task requires quality and caliber teachers having an up to date perspective . The article, in an effort to pioneer in the placement of new curricula standard guideline, presents a preliminary discussion about the following three issues: the content of innovative teaching package; specific selection of physics area under the new instruction mode and tactics utilized in this process, and put forwand innovative teaching/s five characteristics, two concrete methods, four teaching tactics and some teaching cases.
