As time goes by, teachers in primary and middle schools are required to attend continuing education and to improve professional qualities. In the execution process of all-staff training scheme, the teachers' learning motivation for it has been a key factor, which determines the effect of the training. More studies should be conducted in this field.By ways of literature review, questionnaires and comprehensive analysis, the study analyses the status quo and insensitive measures of learning motivation among the junior high school teachers in Guangzhou. First of all, the essential theories are set forth after reading lots of literatures. Then the questionnaires results show that their main motivation for attending the training is to gain professional knowledge. And universality, practicability, professional-orientation, otherness are all its characters. In the last part of the thesis, some policy implications of how to promote and strengthen such learning motivation are proposed, such as creating the learning environment, exploring teachers' internal learning demands, motivating their expectations, providing outside supports and enhancing the training effects.
