The Status And Countermeasures Research Of Junior High School Physical Education Teacher Continuing Education

In the process of education reform deepening development in every country, the update ofthe knowledge by leaps and bounds and rapid change of knowledge makes the knowledgelearned at school and one-time education can’t satisfy the social needs. More and more peopleall over the world realize the role of teachers in education reform, so that teachers continuingeducation becomes the focus of every country and international organization. As an importantpart of modern education, school physical education is the basic element of modern complextalent cultivation; the all-round physical and moral development is also inseparable fromphysical education basic education. As a member of teachers, the continuing education ofphysical education teachers should get concern and attention from the whole society.Now the focus of domestic and foreign experts is the study of continuing education, andthere already are rather mature products of this study, respective distinct feature of theeducation models and much precious experience in the developed countries. This paperabsorbs from domestic and foreign experts and scholars researches, combines with thecontinuing education status quo of the current physical education teachers and conducts athorough and meticulous investigation. During the investigation, the author takes lots ofresearch methods, such as questionnaires, interviews, literature research methods and focuseson the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical investigation, qualitative researchmethods and quantitative research methods. According to our research, we profoundlyanalyze the current status of junior high school physical education teachers continuingeducation and problems, including: the education authorities, school leaders; junior highschool physical education teachers don’t have the correct understanding of the continuingeducation; the institutions of continuing education are imperfect; the organization ofeducation is not good enough; the content of continuing education is not effective and targetedand lack of protection mechanisms and so on.Against the current status and problems of physical education teachers’ continuing educationin Zhifu District junior high school, we propose the following recommendations: establish thecorrect concept of continuing education; expand continuing education base; form the multiplethree-dimensional network system of continuing education; take various measures to ensurethe content of continuing education targeted and effective; establish the effective security system of funding to ensure the continuing education; train and build a good quality ofcontinuing education teachers.
