Under existing circumstance of education reform, the renewal of education ideas and the change of education objects endow Class Adviser's job with new significance, which is gradually realized by people now. However, there is still very few about Class Adviser's job in the vocational training for teachers. Class Adviser's job has not yet been attached enough importance to. Having been aware of the significance and the status quo of Class Adviser's job, we should promote not only Teacher Professionalization but also "Class Adviser Professionalization" simultaneously, which is a special subsection of the Teacher Professionalization.Education is a subject of great practice. Class Adviser's professional development roots in the practice of education. Any research, that is far from Class Adviser's job, far from the condition of the school, and ignorant of the individuation and variety of education objects, will not be accepted by Class Advisers, since it will hardly help them dealing with problems in the education practice. Using the special sayings and theories of the subject of education, narrative inquiry might be more appropriate for this study.Therefore, narrative inquiry was used in this paper for the study of Class Adviser Professionalization. One semester's observation, interview and investigation in T school, formed the field texts, which then evolved into research texts through describing in story form not only the status quo of Class Advisers' jobs of T school in classification and in collectivity but also the specific developing history of Teacher King. This paper described the real experience of Class Advisers, while summarizing the wisdom implicated in the education stories and exploring a new way of Class Adviser Professionalization.This paper identified Class Adviser Professionalization with the concept that Class Advisers should be provided with professional morality and ideas, domain knowledge, competency and intention of self-development, whose development should involve three phases: an eligible Class Adviser, a Class Adviser with speciality, and an example Class Adviser of influence. Moreover, this paper provided some advice for the professional development of Class Advisers.
