The Class Advisers as a special type of teachers are the class organizers and leaders.They directly make the families of students?other teachers and the society communicate with each other.They work on the moral education,intellectual education,aesthetic education,health and daily life of the students.The professional quality of Class Advisers directly influences the quality of school education and teaching.This study takes rural middle schools in Suzhou,Wuzhong District as samples.Data about the practice of Class Advisers in rural middle schools were collected through the investigation and analysis of the status quo of the professional quality of the Class Advisers in rural middle schools.The study discusses and confirms the professional quality of the Class Advisers in rural middle schools,and seeks ways to promote the professional quality of the Class Advisers in rural middle schools.At the beginning of this study,through the literature analysis,interviews,surveys and other methods,determining the professional quality of the class advisers should include the dimensions,namely: moral quality,knowledge literacy,ability accomplishment,physical and mental qualities.In the investigation,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the overall situation of the professional quality of the class advisers.The class advisers who are in Rural Middle Schools,Wuzhong District in SuZhou,were selected as the object of study.The sample was selected from 225 class advisers who are in 6 Rural Middle Schools Wuzhong District in SuZhou.We selected gender,length of teaching,the number of years as a teacher in charge of a class,the highest education level of beginning class teachers,teaching subjects,titles,as the researchdimension.After collecting data,each dimension is deeply explored and analyzed.The results of the questionnaire show that the overall level of professional accomplishment of Suzhou Wuzhong.District Rural Middle School is higher.Among them,the level of moral literacy is higher overall,and the level of ability and physical literacy is slightly lower.From this we can see that the rural middle school class advisers in the knowledge and skills level is still deficient.To strengthen the rural teachers in charge of teacher construction is the key to the professional development of class teachers to take targeted training.At the same time,the paper makes a simple analysis and suggestion on how to improve the professional quality of the class advisers from three aspects: themselves,schools,education authorities and society.
