The teachers' continuing education training of the agricultural technical secondary school in Yunnan Province started quite late, the obvious problems of which were that the teachers' continuing education training idea lagged, the consciousness of teachers' continuing education training was dim, the existing training model was simplex and the pertinence was weak, and the theoretical research and efficient training model was lacking. With the guide of the theories of for lifelong education, adult education, teacher professionalization and the teachers' education, using a series of methods such as theoretical research method, comparative research method, historical research method, investigative research method, case analysis method and integrative analysis method, this paper diagnosed the teachers' continuing education training model of the agricultural technical secondary school in Yunnan Province and its existing problems, meanwhile, put forward that the trinity of educational scientific research, agricultural scientific research and teachers' continuing education should be as the training model of the agricultural technical secondary school teachers' continuing education using the experience of constructing the teachers' continuing education training model in the world for reference.This paper believed that educational research was to transmit knowledge, agricultural scientific research was to discover agricultural knowledge and technology, however, continuing education was to improve the agricultural technical secondary school teachers' specialty lever and their ability to work on educational research and agricultural scientific research from the theory, knowledge, method and skill aspects. Closely surround the development of local economy, make it the root to promote the development of the agricultural technical secondary schools and teachers, take advantage of colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and agricultural corporations, construct the mechanism by promoting the trinity of educational scientific research, agricultural scientific research and teachers' continuing education, pay attention to characteristics, enhance the foster of practical training and scientific research innovation will provide better service for the agriculture and agricultural economy in local area.
