At present, school-choice is a main tendency of the world and a desiderating problem in educational reform of our country. Ardent controversies have being presented in the society and the academia. However, school-choice is both an educational and social problem, and as opinions are varying from people to people, therefore, there isn't a verdict yet by now. At present, educational resources are distributed unreasonably and the democratic awareness of people rises gradually, parent's school-choice will become hotter, however, parents haven't then-own ideas about the reason why they choose school and what kind of school they should choose, as a result, they just do what others do. So it is inevitable that theirs' deeds will bring undesired effect to the order of education. Therefore, the writer holds that the importance of study the problem from the perspective of interests which is considered closely by parents is ever-rising. Based on the requirement, from the angle of distant interest, the author analyzes the problem of parents' school-choice in detail, and concludes the interests which are pursued by parents are unpractical and put forward further the parents must put the real interests of children in the first, that means that parents should takes the interests, intrinsic need etc of children into the fullest consideration. Only by doing so, it is accorded with both the law of education development and the law of children development, so can make children growth healthily and continuously.The paper consists of six parts in all. Section one, namely introduction, introduces mainly the background and meaning why the writer chooses to study the problem of school-choice, the actuality of the problem, and the theoretical and practical significances are laid out; Chapter two, theoretical basis of the study, tries to analyze the key conceptions in this paper, such as the "parents' school-choice, distant-interest and etc. The third part focuses on the actuality of parents' school-choice in our country and deduces out that the conduct of parents is a blind one by describing the actuality and characters of parents' school-choice. Subsequently, it narrates the lack of children' real interests due to parents' ambiguous understand to the motive, aim and interests of school-choice. Chapter four, comparative analysis, makes a contrast between school-choice in America and in China, in order to make the problem clear and hoping the better reflections are put forward. The fifth chapter, construction of mode, tries to come out the parents' school-choice should be established in the actual, present interests of children, by doing so, the interests both the children and parents can be accomplished. Chapter six, some recommendations, points out that parents' school-choice wouldn't disappear by the forbid from the Government owing to the multiple reasons, especially the interests, what the Government should do is lead parents to build up correct ideas about school-choice, in order to achieve the effect that thought parents choose school, the order of teaching is still in good condition.
