The problem of school choice is widespread in the field of compulsory education in our country.Since the 1990 s,this problem began to be controversial,and caused more and more attention from all walks of life.Our country paid great attention to the problem of school choice,and issued a number of policies to be effective governance on this issue,but there is still a large gap between policy expectations and policy effect.Therefore,it is necessary for us to further examine the behavior logic and value pursuit behind the school choice behavior,so as to find the key to the effective management of school choice.Objectively speaking,with the continuous development of the national economy and the priority development of the national education strategy during the transitional period,the compulsory education in our country has made remarkable achievements,but due to history and policy reasons,the allocation of public education resources between regions,urban and rural areas and schools is extremely uneven,coupled with the high-quality education resources in general cannot meet the needs of students and parents,so school choice came into being.At the same time,the different capital power owned by family,such as social capital,economic capital and cultural capital and so on,coming into the practice of school choice,the problem of school choice has been intensified,and even became a war game for the limited high-quality education resources among parents.More importantly,many social problems that the school choice bred not only affected the education fair and balanced development of education,but also affected the development of social harmony and stability,and then became a hot issue of society which has caused some concerns from media and government policymakers.Looking at the phenomenon of school choice,it mainly reflects the problem of the unbalanced development of education and the relative shortage of high-quality education resources.In fact,this is the inevitable result of the development of education to a certain stage,and what we really need to pay attention to is the irrational behavior.To further explore the hidden nature behind the irrational school choice,it can be found that in the process of the practice,there are many kinds of interest expression based on their own interests.It is this pursuit that drove the imbalance of interests.Therefore,to solve the problem of school choice,we must face the problem of how to balance the interests of different stakeholders.Through the balanced allocation of compulsory education resources;to make a reasonable school choice policy of compulsory education;and to provide parents with more space and opportunities for education and so on,all these might be the effective way to solve the problem.
