Guizhou is located in China's west region that lacks of the development for economy, science and technology. The development of Guizhou needs people with high professional ability. Postgraduate education undertakes responsibility for training high qualified professional. Guizhou University has been permitted to enter into the national list of "211 Project". Facing to the need for people with high professional ability due to economics becoming knowledge and going worldwide, facing to the hard international competition in higher education development, facing to the policy on farther development of west China, facing to the expanded scale on enrolling new postgraduate, facing to the rapid building-up of education for postgraduate with various professional Master's degree, full-time postgraduate education in Guizhou University meets the best opportunity for development, at the meantime, it's confronted with huge challenges.Postgraduate training is the main component of postgraduate education, it directly influences the quality of training for high qualified professional. The training to full-time postgraduate includes design, execution and management on training process. Since postgraduate enrolling was resumed in 1978, the postgraduate education in Guizhou University has given the contribution to economic construction, technological progress and social development for local Guizhou and whole country, but the training to full-time postgraduate in Guizhou University has some problems either on process design or process management, for example, the study period is not flexible and too long, lack of scientific research practice, the training aim is single, management remains to be improved and so on. These problems seriously influence the quality of training for high qualified professional, and badly restrict the development of postgraduate education in Guizhou University. In order to ensure the quality of training and to improve the competition ability of Guizhou University on the market of postgraduate education, to keep continuous development, to give more contribution to the construction development for Guizhou and whole country, these problems must be solved. By way of analyzing and comparing the practice and trend on postgraduate education in our country and in foreign countries, and combining with the actual situation of Guizhou University and Guizhou Province, this paper puts forward the method to solve these problems and points out the new system for full-time postgraduate education of Guizhou University in conformity to the education law and market rule.The following research method and process are used in this paper, firstly observe and conclude the current situation and development of full-time postgraduate education in Guizhou University, secondly put forward the problem by questionnaire investigation, finally make research on problems and get the solution of problems by means of looking up literatures, cases comparison, and digital charts.
