"zhenjiang Local Culture" Language Based Curriculum Development And Implementation Strategy Study

School-based course is developed and designed by the school itself according to the national course system. School-based course is a kind of course based on the school education. It indicates that the school is free to do research on part or all of the fixed courses according to the teaching theories. School-based course can improve our national course system in many ways. It is also the requirement of the reform of the school course in the development of education. The local culture has its own features. It's quite common in the Chinese nation, while at the same time, it's also particularly characterized for its special folk, customs, recognition of the society and science, which are due to be important resources of the school-based course of Chinese. "The local culture of Zhenjiang", which is a school-based course of Chinese, is aimed at guiding both teachers and students to make full use of the resources supplied by the school itself and the local area, broaden the ways of learning Chinese. For the teaching of "The local culture of Zhenjiang", we have prepared 8 subjects like Landscapes, History and Culture, Literature and so on, which are quite comprehensive and practical. Considering the practical situation of the students, the course is conducted in the way of adopting comprehensive activities as well as classroom teaching. The evaluation fully suits the newly-reformed course, and emphasizes on the procedures, with the combination of self-assessment and others' assessments in the hope of improving teaching and designing courses, and finally fulfilling the development of the students.
